So I've fought some battles and a couple of my units are looking...um, thin - 9 soldiers left of 20, that kind of thing. Is there any mechanism for getting them to recruit back up to strength? I moved them to the reserve, expecting this to happen, but for some reasons the young men of Ny Gammelborg aren't flocking to the colours.

The only way to "heal" them is if you have a garrison. You click on the garrison, then at the top right of the box where the troop types are listed, you click "retrain". It will take you to a new window, where you select which troops you wish to retrain, and also how much resource this will cost, and how much time (in seconds) it will take.
